For Bullion Spot CFDs, trading instruments include Gold (XAUUSD, XAUEUR, XAUAUD, XAUGBP), platinum (XPTUSD), and Silver (XAGUSD). Future CFD products include copper (COPPER.fs).

Trading symbols for gold and silver bullion Spot CFDs

The ticker symbol for gold is XAU, the symbol for silver is XAG and for platinum is XPT. Metals are traded against different currencies and, like standard forex trades, are presented in pairs, as follows:

• Gold vs. US Dollar = XAUUSD
• Gold vs. Australian Dollar = XAUAUD
• Gold vs. Euro = XAUEUR
• Gold vs. Great British Pound = XAUGBP
• Silver vs. US Dollar = XAGUSD
• Platinum vs UD Dollar = XPTUSD

Precious metals can also be traded as a Futures CFD: copper (COPPER.fs).

Please note: When you trade bullion with Axi, you are not buying a physical asset such as a bar of gold. Instead, you simply trade the price movements of the underlying asset through CFDs. This means you can profit whether the price is going up or down.
