Adding Indicators in Windows device

To add indicators when using MT4 for Windows, follow the steps below:

  1. Navigate to the ‘Insert’ tab and click on the function icon.
  2. Select ‘Indicators.’

You can now select a range of indicators to customize and add.

Installing Expert Advisors on Windows

To add an Expert Advisor in MT4 for Windows, follow these steps:

  1. Open MetaTrader 4
    Launch your MetaTrader 4 platform.

  2. Access the Data Folder
    From the top menu, click on 'File' and then select 'Open Data Folder.' This will open a file explorer window.

  3. Locate the MQL4 Folder
    In the file explorer, find and double-click the 'MQL4' folder.

  4. Open the Experts Folder
    Inside the MQL4 folder, open the 'Experts' folder. This is where you’ll place your Expert Advisor file.

  5. Add the Expert Advisor
    Drag and drop your EA file into the 'Experts' folder.

  6. Restart MetaTrader 4
    To complete the installation, restart your MetaTrader 4 platform. Your Expert Advisor will now be ready to use!
