Why can’t I log in to my Demo account on MT4/MT5?

There are two common reasons why you may be unable to log in to your Demo account:

  1. Your Demo account has expired

Demo accounts are valid for 30 days from the date of creation. Once they expired, they cannot be reactivated.

Note: If your Demo account has, you can set up a new one directly through the Client Portal.

  1. Incorrect login details

Login issues often occur when the account number, password, or server is entered incorrectly. Please make sure:

  • All details are an exact match.

  • The correct server is selected in MT4/MT5.

  1. Switch trading platform

Your trading account type has to match the platform you are using. For example, an MT4 trading account has to be logged in via the MT4 platform. Similarly, an MT5 account can only be accessed through the MT5 platform.
