How is my withdrawal balance calculated?Find out what your available withdrawal balance is, why it may differ from your total balance, and how withdrawals affect your open positions and margin.

Your withdrawal balance is the amount available to withdraw at any time. It is not always the same as your total account balance because open trades and pending orders can reduce what is available.

What you need to know:

  1. Your withdrawal balance is calculated as follows: Equity = Balance ± PnL (Profit or Loss). Your available withdrawal balance is the portion of that equity not tied up in open or pending trades.

  2. Your withdrawal balance may be lower than your total balance if you have open positions or pending orders not yet executed. Pending orders are trades placed on the platform that have not yet been filled or settled — the amounts are temporarily deducted from your available balance.

  3. Example: your total account balance is $10,000. You have a pending trade worth $4,000. Your available withdrawal balance is $6,000. Once the pending trade is executed or cancelled, your withdrawal balance will update accordingly.

  4. When you submit a withdrawal, the nominated amount is immediately deducted from your available equity — even while the request is still being processed. This means those funds are no longer available to cover open positions or meet margin requirements. If your equity falls below the required margin level after a withdrawal, your open trades may be automatically stopped out. Always check your margin requirements before withdrawing. For margin call and stop-out levels, refer to your Product Schedule or contact Client Services. Managing margin and risk is the sole responsibility of the client — Axi cannot accept responsibility if a withdrawal results in trades being stopped out due to insufficient margin.

  5. If your withdrawal amount is below the minimum allowed and you are not withdrawing your full remaining balance, the withdrawal will be cancelled. Ensure your request meets the minimum requirement for your chosen method before submitting.

  6. All payments used to fund your Axi account must come from an account in your own name. Third-party payments are not accepted. Business cards — including those under the account holder's name — are considered third-party and will not be accepted. If third-party funding is suspected, Axi reserves the right to return funds to the remitter and retain the balance in your account pending verification of identity and source of funds.

  7. You can only withdraw up to your available withdrawal balance. For profits above your original deposit amount, you may withdraw using any available payment method once the Return to Source (RTS) requirement has been fulfilled.

  8. Your available withdrawal balance is displayed in the Client Portal and app when you navigate to the Withdraw section. You can also check your available equity at any time directly in your trading platform — for example, in MT4 or MT5, your equity and free margin are visible in the Terminal window at the bottom of the screen.

Important Note: If you believe there is an error with your withdrawal balance, contact Client Services immediately. Do not submit a withdrawal request if you are unsure — contact support first so your account activity can be reviewed and any discrepancy resolved before you proceed.
