How can I deposit funds into my trading account using cryptocurrency?Learn how to deposit funds using cryptocurrency via the Axi Client Portal, including supported crypto networks, wallet address requirements, minimum deposit limits, and steps to complete your crypto deposit securely.
Please note: Deposits must originate from an account in your name; payments from third parties will be refunded to the originating account.
To deposit funds into your trading account, simply log in to the Client Portal and navigate to the Funds section on the left-hand menu. Choose the Deposit option from the top menu, then follow these steps:
- Select the trading account (MT4/MT5 account) you wish to fund by clicking ‘Add Funds.’
IMPORTANT: Make sure that you choose the correct account number to deposit into, should you have more than one MT4/MT5 account. If you deposit into the wrong account and have to request an internal transfer, it may result in a delay as we need time to process it.
- Choose 'Crypto' as your funding method and select your preferred cryptocurrency.
- If the chosen crypto currency requires a network to transmit the fund, please select a network of choice.
IMPORTANT: Please note that Bitcoin Cash, Litecoin, and Ripple do not require a crypto network for fund transfers, whereas Tether and Ethereum do.
- Enter in the amount you wish to fund.
- Review details on the confirmation page. Click ‘Make Deposit’ to complete the transaction.
- Enter the amount you wish to deposit. Please note that each deposit method has a minimum amount requirement. If you enter an amount lower than the minimum, you will not be able to complete the deposit.
- This step takes you to a confirmation page. Once you've verified that all details are correct, click 'Make Deposit' to submit your deposit request.
IMPORTANT: If you select an incorrect network or cryptocurrency address, Axi will not be able to recover the funds or reverse the transaction.
- To proceed with the deposit, scan the QR code of the wallet address using your crypto app, or copy and paste the wallet address into your provider’s platform. Please ensure that the deposit is made within the specified time frame. Additionally, avoid saving the wallet address for future deposits, as this may cause delays in your funds being credited to your Axi trading account. A new wallet address is required for each deposit attempt.
- You will receive a successful notification once your deposit is processed. Go to your dashboard to check if the deposit is reflected in the chosen MT4/MT5 account.
